Racing Bulls has become the third team to present a special livery for the Miami Grand Prix with a striking pink design.

The Red Bull-owned team calls the design its “Red Bull Summer Edition” livery. In a first for Red Bull, the design has been introduced to promote a new flavour of the energy drink.

Racing Bulls also ran a special livery at this race last year, when it competed as RB. On that occasion they incorporated rainbow colours into their usual design, which was the first of three different one-off liveries they used last season.

“Since that debut, we’ve continued to make waves with striking liveries in Singapore and Las Vegas, each one crafted in collaboration with our partners and met with real excitement from fans,” said Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer.

The team presented the livery in an event at Joia Beach Club on Jungle Island in Miami, where Bayer was joined by team principal Laurent Mekies plus drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar.

Two other teams have already revealed special liveries for this weekend’s race. Ferrari will use an “asymmetric” design in tribute to its title sponsor and Sauber has produced mildly reworked graphics for its cars.

Racing Bulls heads into this weekend’s round eighth in the championship, two points behind Aston Martin. It claimed its biggest points haul of the season in the Miami Grand Prix last year, when Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda finished fourth and eighth respectively in the sprint race, then Tsunoda took seventh in the grand prix.

Their 2024 Miami livery was gorgeous. I’m not sold on this shade of pink.

    1. I’m not sold on this shade of pink

Indeed, not Totes Adorbs (sorry, is that West coast?)

        No. I think that’s 10yo girl.

But these days who knows. I see grown men using terms like “slayed” (e.g., that sketch slayed me!) online. It’s dismaying.

  2. Hmmm…
    Well, it is different.

  3. Here’s a tip to f1 teams, want to make a livery that will stand out?
Just paint the whole car, it doesn’t even matter what color but please stop leaving bare carbon fibre in the lower half… and yes I know it’s for weight reasons but come on!

    1. @mantresx Not only weight reasons but those parts if painted are hard to swap as those are big.

    2. I disagree – keeping the bottom black hides the chub and makes it look a lot more sleek

  4. This particular VCARB one-off livery looks great & is perhaps even their best temporary livery to date.

The can on the nose looks like someone used the spray blend function on Microsoft Paint.

  6. It’s certainly bold and different. Quite like it. They’ve made a decent effort.

  7. That is a render, not a picture

    1. You sure about that?

  8. No! Just no!

  9. Thats alright actually, in context of the others certainly. Helps they have 2 or 3 major sponsors instead of the usual teen sticker album approach. Hire their graphic design team and get them to do everyone else’s, particularly Ferrari

  10. Really like this livery, will add some good colour to the grid. Nice to see a one-off livery being a completely new design, rather than just a tweak which you can barely notice when watching the cars in motion. Then there’s the Ferrari one where you’d rather you didn’t notice…

Colour might not be my taste, but this looks a lot better thought out than their regular livery. Nice

  12. Why do all the teams dress up for the Miami drab race? I still understand making an effort for Monaco or a team’s home race. But there is nothing to celebrate here.

    1. It’s probably Liberty’s decision not the teams. In my opinion forcing all teams to change colors detracts from the effort of making them special.

  13. Even the FIA is woke. It’s just sad.
